Cleaning out the play pen
We love our cats, we love them so much we had a cat safe porch built onto the house that is screened in and the cats can come and go through a cat door in a window. It leads out to a cat tree outside and there are shelves and stuff for them to climb on.And our cats love it out there. But, they also have a bad habit of going out there too.Well, in their defense, the rain will wash a bit of dirt in and that got them started, but you know how it is, they shed, they potty, they throw up, etc.So, every so often, we have to go out and clean up some of the mess. And today was the day I did that. Now, I've done it like 5 times, and we got the roomie's nephew to do it once, and really considering how many cats we have, and that its been there for almost 5 years, it really isn't that bad.Still, it had been like a year or so since it was last done, and the last time it was completely cleaned was when the nephew took the hose to it about a year and a half ago. I don't do that, I go in with a shovel and scoop out what I can into an empty bucket and then dump it between the fences (to try and kill off some weeds and stuff. since my fence is metal, I don't see an...
Did you use a play pen for you child(ren)?
When my oldest was a baby I had one but never used it. When my youngest was a baby I never had one so I never used one. Now, I am pregnant with my 3rd daughter and I have 2 Play Pens. I plan on using one for outside and one for indoors. I think I am actually going to use one this time around because where I live there are so many other children and with my daughter going to be just a baby this summer it will be easier to keep an eye on her. What did you do when your child(ren) were babies? Did you like using them?completely cleaned was when the nephew took the hose to it about a year and a half ago. I don't do that, I go in with a shovel and scoop out what I can into an empty bucket and then dump it between the fences (to try and kill off some weeds and stuff. since my fence is metal, I don't see an issue...[em]devil[/em]I also took a rake and got a few weeds and leaves up or at least rearranged (piled leaves over some weeds ya know) - actually piled a lot where the other roommate parks her car in the yard so they will get pressed into the dirt the next time it rains...There's some sticky weeds in the yard that a friend suggested I get out and...
Do you think it's wrong or healthy to have your baby in a play pen?
Some peope swear by them and some however feel it is a little jail and a way to not deal with your baby. I feel it is necessary but can not be abused. You need to spend quality time with your baby but have be able to do things around your house and have her safe. Do you disagree or agree with the play pen? And how much time is too much time?
Where can i play pen and paper games(dungeonsanddragons) online like in a chat
anyone know anywhere?
At the school or in the office, do you have the habit of playing pen?
At the school, a lot of students liked to play pen or pencil. i was crazy, my hands were not controlled. Sometimes the teacher discovers that and punishs us, but we still like to play them. In the office, i can't do it, i think that is bad habit. At the school or in the office, do you have the habit of playing pen?
Have You Ever Had a Dollhouse
Have you ever owned a dollhouse? Did you have one as a kid? Where did it come from?I've always been fasinated with dollhouses. I've never had one of my own but a friend had one when I was young and we played for hours on end with it. I've now gotten a chart to start stitching one that I really like. Although it's not the same as having one you can touch and move things around in it's about as close as I'll get right now:) Something about everything being so tiny that just amazes me. Some of the minitures they make for the houses are so perfectly made it looks like they were shrunk down from the real thing.I read an article once about a man who was in prison and was building one in there. I thought it was so awesome that he was doing that.**AT PEACE WITHIN**~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
How do you decorate your house during Christmas Season
I put up almost every usual Christmas Stuffs like lanterns, Christmas lights, Posters, etc. but one sad thing is that I no longer have a Christmas Tree. I did not buy a new one because I still have a four year old boy who loves to pull everything. How do you usually decorate your house during the Christmas season?
do you have toys in every room of the house
i'm so tired of toys being all over. are your kids good at keeping their toys in one room or two or do they drag them around all over the place. where do you allow toys or are you ok with them in every room. usually my room doesn't have toys is it but sometimes she gets some in there. but every other room in the house i find toys in. i'm really tired of it casue i find it so messy. i wish i could get my almost 4 year old to leave the toys in her room and play in there or at least not take so many in the living room while she plays
my one-year-old is a handful
i have a 1yo daughter and she's a handful. she moves around a lot. i hardly get any rest these days since i have to watch her all the time. i can't count the times she's fallen off from somewhere high, stumble on her knees or bump her head on the wall or something. one time, she was sleeping peacefully in our bed and the next thing i know she had crawled towards the edge and fell off. i think, i have swallowed my heart when i found her crying on the floor. it is a new discovery each day. there are times that i'm just cool about it and there are also times when i can hardly keep it together. i usually lose my nerves when she won't sleep on time and i'm just so tired of watching her. my mom would tell me that i can't complain since it was my choice to get myself into it. well, she's right and i'm trying my hardest to be the best mom possible. it's doubly hard when i can't even get out of the house cuz she would cry non-stop if she feels that i'm missing. it's an everyday struggle but i'm still thankful i have her cuz she's a joy, despite the hardships, and nothing else in the world could compensate for it.
CHILD’S DOLLHOUSE BRINGS OVER $200,000-HAVE YOU EVER SOLD ANYTHING AT AUCTION?
Buy the best and it will always be a good investment. That is one of the rules we have often heard. It is true of houses, especially dollhouses. Mary Merritt and her husband, Bob, had a doll and toy museum for many years and bought internationally for the collection. Part of the contents of the museum was auctioned last week and the prize dollhouse, a nineteenth-century Scottish building called Hope Villa, 55 inches wide by 37 inches tall, sold for an amazing $225,500. Could have bought a nice full-sized house for that amount. The sale by Noel Barrett was a huge success, bringing almost $2.5 million. Have you ever sold anything at auction?
